On track today: 650cc single‑seater to 650S (and lots in between)

With weather that varies between bright sunshine and threatening cloud (which occasionally carries out its threat), the latest GRRC track day is providing plenty of thrills for drivers of a typically broad cross-section of cars. A delightful 1966 Formula Four, powered by a 650cc Triumph motorcycle engine, is dwarfed by virtually everything else in the paddock.

‘Everything else’ includes no fewer than three McLaren 650Ss, a Jota-prepared Aston Martin Vantage race car and everything else from a classic Austin-Healey 3000 to a tuned Mitusubishi Evo that’s giving quick Porsches something to think about.

Enough chit-chat – check out the gallery above to see what else is on track today.
