On track today: MGs in the low Autumn sun

MGs On Track has been making the most of the late October sunshine with almost every type of MG represented for one of its last events of the season.

Catching our eye, as well as possibly a few insects, was a track-prepared, late model TF sporting a sizeable rear-wing. Meanwhile a rather pretty RV8, along with a MGB V8, was singing out a particularly pleasing offbeat woofle!

Special mention must also go to the Arkley SS, the part-fibreglass bodied Midget with looks apparently inspired by Morgan. A perfect fusion of British sports car styles? We’ll let you tell us in the comments below.

Regardless of speed, grip or noise, we’ve been enjoying the sight of Goodwood’s chicane being attacked by classic sports cars, hot hatches and be-winged, mid-engined roadsters (all with the evocative Morris Garages badge).

Just a shame the sun’s gone down so soon…
