Marussia may only ever take its place as a footnote in Formula One history, but you could own a slice of its story. Following its collapse last month, everything is being sold off in an online auction on December 16th. And when we say everything, we mean almost everything – the racing cars are included, but it won’t come with engines.
There will also be show cars in the sale, as well as tools, pit equipment and general office equipment. Fancy a bit of F1 pedigree in your everyday working life? This is the sale for you! They’re even selling off the signs from the doors that say ‘Team Manager’ and the like. Oh, and if you need a ‘large amount’ of black ankle socks… you’re in the right place.
As well as the obscure, even the cars have no reserve and a starting bid of £0. And there are all sorts of interesting items, such as 2010 steering wheel, a (rather basic) race simulator and various bits of bodywork. It’s doubtless that there are going to be some bargains amongst the diverse array of lots. You can see them all here.
