This weekend GRR did double duty at two incredible events – half the team headed to Daytona to experience the amazing Classic Daytona 24 Hours, while the rest headed to the forests of Wales for some WRC action.
A full report on our journey to Rally GB will follow later this week, but first we thought we would share a selection of the best photos we captured during an awesome weekend of mud, rain and oversteer.
While the rally was eventually won by now triple World Champion Sebastien Ogier it was Festival of Speed star Kris Meeke who flew the flag for the home heroes, becoming the first Brit to stand on the podium of his own event since Richard Burns claimed his only world title in 2001.
You can read more about exactly what happened in the final WRC round of the season in Henry Hope-Frost’s roundup of the weekend’s action here, but before you do, we hope that the selection above will give you just a flavour of what it’s like to be stage-side in the forest of Dyfi and the legendary Myherin test – where the cars snake in-and-out of the giant wind turbines.
