Every now and then one of the many track days held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit deserves more attention than others, today was one of those moments as our friends from Mission Motorsport arrive for a fundraising day out.
If you haven’t heard of Mission Motorsport then, in short, the charity works with recovering servicemen and women with a view to finding them work in the motorsport industry. While the cars and the sport have an obvious appeal, Mission Motorsport’s primary role is to help ex-soldiers re-engage with civilian life.
Today’s selection, all gathered together for a good cause, included the usual Lotus Elise, Porsche 911 GT3s and some more special vehicles, including a stunning Porsche Carrera GT, a stunning Porsche 904, McLaren MP4-12C and a couple of brand new Cayman GT4s.
