There’s a common theme running between these corners. All throw camber and elevation changes at you. All require the novice driver to build up to them. All are, once mastered and in the right machinery, seriously daunting. Though the last of that list, Eau Rouge, has to be the most formidable of the lot because with the right car – and a serious set of stones – you can take it flat-out.

For a mere mortal, such an undertaking requires A) some serious machinery and B) a mental recalibration of what’s possible.
