Fifty years ago British racing driver Richard Attwood, along with teammate Hans Herrmann, provided Porsche with is first-ever victory in the world’s greatest endurance race, the 24 Heures du Mans. For the 88th running of the race this weekend, Richard’s name will again adorn the bodywork of a racing Porsche as it seeks to emulate the 1970 victory.
