The 2021 WRC season came to a close for the second year running at Monza, as did the championship fight between Elfyn Evans and Sébastien Ogier. Yes, for two years in a row the WRC title has been settled on the track, historic banking and roads around the historic Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, and on both occasions it was Ogier who emerged the victor. It’s a shame Monza won’t feature on the calendar again in 2022 but we’re hopeful that, one day, it might make a return.
