We’ve written about the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 a number of times now, but for good reason: it sounds epic. So when we found an onboard video from Vallelunga the collective GR&R office agreed it would be rude not to share. Crank up the volume, this is delightful.

The driver is German publication Sport Auto’s test driver Christian Gebhardt, a man who has won various classes of the Nürburgring 24 Horus on multiple occasions. Chasing a Huracan GT3 EVO, Christian is on it, letting the SCV12’s monstrous 850PS (610kW) 6.3-litre V12 really stretch its legs. It’s so fast, in fact, that on at least one occasion Christian has to have a little lift without applying the brakes to avoid catching the GT3 car. We could watch and listen to this car doing laps all day.
