Next season’s BTCC calendar features ten rounds, the same number as 2022, as the second round at Thruxton has been dropped in favour of the return to Donington. Much of the rest of the calendar remains as usual, except for a shift in the date for Snetterton’s round.
For 2023, the BTCC season will begin with a round on the shorter, national circuit at Donington at the end of April, as has become a recent tradition, before moving on to Brands Hatch in May and its Indy Circuit. Brands had been the traditional starting point for the BTCC, but swapped with Donington a few years ago.
Teams will then move on to Snetterton, which moves to a May slot that had been taken up by Thruxton this year. The teams will then reconvene at Thruxton to start the summer with a round on 3rd/4th June. A swing north takes in Oulton Park (17th/18th June) before a gap of over a month before the teams move to Croft on 29th/30th July.
