We almost have a complete grid for the 2024 MotoGP season, which is due to get underway on 10th March in Qatar. The 2023 season is still five seasons from coming to a close, and there is only one seat left to fill, that of the Honda bike vacated by Marc Marquez.

The great Spaniard who has struggled for form in recent years will join the Ducati stable for 2024 alongside his brother at the Gressini Racing outfit. The factory Ducati team meanwhile will be hoping its all-star pairing of Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini can ride together on more than a handful of occasions in 2024, as the latter suffers a dismally broken season hindered by injuries and surgeries in 2023.
Elsewhere, Pedro Acosta will make his MotoGP debut with Tech3, replacing Pol Espargaró who departs after ten seasons in grand prix motorcycle racing. Johann Zarco makes the move to LCR Honda to fill the seat of Álex Rins who will race for Yamaha in 2024. Franco Morbidelli completes the triangle by stepping in for the Pramac team.
