The first time we laid eyes on pictures of the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 some of us nearly fell over, so stunning was it to behold. News that it would pack a 610bhp V10 and be capable of 200+mph didn’t go down too badly either.
With Lamborghini’s month-long worldwide ‘private viewing tour’ (for VIP clients only…) yet to finish, the early signs are that the car charged with replacing the hugely popular Gallardo looks like doing so in style.
To date, apparently 700 orders (and, presumably, 700 flipping great deposits) have been received as a result of the private viewings alone. The order book is likely to swell even further at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show where the car’s chances of being labelled ‘star of show’ were enhanced somewhat when it was announced that it will be the first vehicle to be revealed at the show – during a press conference given by Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann.
Do you think the Huracan will go on to outsell the Gallardo as the best-selling Lambo ever?
