Friday arrivals! It’s all go at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in preparation for this weekends 74th Members’ Meeting. Yesterday the odd car began to appear, but today the ranks are beginning to fill.
Yesterday’s stunning Lotus 80 is joined by a twosome of contemporary McLarens in the ground effect corner. The Marlboro orange hue leaps out from the panel work amid the gloomy backdrop of a chilly Goodwood spring morning.
The single Ferrari 512S has been joined by some friends as well as a slew of lovely Lola T70s and Porsche 917s. That lineup is going to be quite the sight to behold, both on track and in the paddocks.
Lightweight E-Types, Cobras, one of the delicious Mustang GT350s and other such Graham Hill Trophy Competitors have taken to the paddocks, too. That selection is sure to make for some interesting racing.
The eagerly anticipated Super Tourers are taking pride of place prior to their demonstration outing with some utter gems of the 90s making an appearance. The Accords, Mondeos, the Vectras and the Audi A4s are a selection from one of the finest ensembles of pre-2001 BTCC machines seen this side of their dedicated series which is ongoing.
The paddocks are filling nicely and the gallery above gives a more comprehensive and affirmatively gorgeous look around today’s newcomers than we could possibly articulate with our babble. Browse, salivate and look forward to seeing them all in motion either here or on the live stream when the weekends events kick off.
