David Beckham famously loves his cars – and, it turns out, his trucks, too. Now the pickup the former England captain tooled around in from 2002 can be in your team. Compete with V5 showing Becks as first owner, the giant Ford is on the transfer list – as star lot in an auction on 30 April.

You Can Buy David Beckham's Massive Pick‑Up
As you might imagine, it’s not just any old pickup. The Ford F-150 is a giant of a machine, both physically and in the sales charts: for years it’s been the best-selling ‘car’ in the US. David Beckham’s F-150 is the best one going – a Harley-Davidson Edition, which is the centre-forward among American trucks. Its supercharged V8 delivers enough pace to despatch the standing quarter mile in 14.6secs at 94mph.
When it came out in 1996 this latest generation of F-150 wowed Americans for its sophistication (independent front suspension!), sleek styling and spacious four-door cab. The Beckham truck, which has had three owners since David, is black, shows 95,000 miles and has an MoT until March 2017.
Barons will be auctioning the F-150 at a special Ford-only sale at Sandown Park on Saturday April 30th to coincide with the International Ford Show at the Surrey racecourse over that weekend. The catalogue gives an estimate of £10,000-£12,000 but insiders are confident that with a provenance like this it will go for rather more.
Just as long as it doesn’t go to penalties…
