Techno Classica: Slaby's Motorised Soapbox
This miniature car proved to be surprisingly popular, with DKW taking over production of Slaby’s ‘SB’ single-seater in 1924, with more than 2,000 examples being sold, including a large number being exported to Japan! At the 1923 Berlin Motor Show, a 172cc DKW petrol engined option was added to supplement the electric version.
