This is the Japan-only Koenigsegg Agera RSR – a highly customised example from a run of three RSR Ageras which exist within the run of 25 for the Agera RS. When you’ve got a back catalogue of under 130 cars over the course of your 20 years in business, they’re as exclusive and customisable as it gets. If your customer wants (pays enough for) the car to have a different name, it’ll have a different name. So as a result the Koenigsegg chronology can get a little convoluted.
Indeed, there is no such thing as a “standard” Koenigsegg. As such, these RSR Agera models feature certain departures from the RS series to which they belong. Beyond the vast and varied colour palette, these cars exhibit the One:1 style top mounting for the canard-clad RS rear wing. Other One:1 influences carry over too, with a shortened roof-removal friendly version of the snorkel intake as first seen on the megacar. All in aid of lower drag, higher downforce and getting more air to that incredible 1,160 horsepower twin-turbo V8.
