When we drove the Polestar 2 (the second car from Polestar after the £136,000 hybrid Polestar 1) there was only a single version available, costing around £50k and being loaded with tech – there has now been an announcement of a new version for less money – and it begged the question as to whether this is the first fully gimmick-free EV for the masses?
