We love a fast Ford here at Goodwood. We especially love watching them live up to the nickname. While rally stages and circuits across the world have born witness to the high-performance powers of the very fastest Fords, in the hands of the very fastest drivers, sometimes all that’s required is a good Nürburgring compilation to remind us of just what fun the Blue Oval can be.

The most fitting opening shot then is a mid-tier slightly ropey looking Sierra testing the very laws of physics, as it lunges sideways through Brünchenn with a 991 GT3 RS not exactly dawdling behind it. We’ve got old Escorts, modern Focus RS’s, and even a Puma ST getting the tail out. The latter is proof, if it were needed, that Fast Fords even in 2022, haven’t lost their touch. This entire video is proof that you don’t need expensive German cars to enjoy that most famous of enormous German tracks. Fords have delivered top-tier driving fun to the masses for decades. Long may they continue to do so.
