It’s been just over a week since the 80th Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport and, thanks in no small part to the GT1 demo, we’ve spent an awful lot of that time on Autotrader looking at Aston Martin DB9s, Corvettes and Vipers. The dream? Something not dissimilar to this week’s video, showing a race-prepped C6 Corvette Z06 getting stuck in at the Nürburgring.

We ride on board as the this roaring monster chases down Porsche 911s and BMW M3s, as the smooth GP circuit tips into the Nordschleife. The blood-curdling Chevy small block howls as the driver tosses the car back and forth, ripping through the gears on the sequential gearbox. What a magnificent sound and sight, that’s not helping in our efforts to resist making some very poor financial decisions…
