Gallery: Vee‑Power Sunday – the British

The low rumble of a Rover V8 was a common theme amongst the British Vee-Power cars… TVRs, Morgans, Westfields and other all share derivations of the same engine. But it wasn’t all about how many engine bays we could see housing the Buick-derived V8; there was plenty of other British metal out there that didn’t rely on Rover power. Quite a few Brits do borrow their engines from overseas, however. How many can you spot? We’ll get you started with BMW (Morgan), Chrysler (Bristol Fighter), Moto Guzzi (Pembleton special)…
