The standing start of the Whitsun Trophy is one of the stand out moments of Revival. The power and noise of all those Lolas, McLarens and GT40s being unleashed in one go creates a spectacle that you can actually feel through the ground, let alone see and hear.
As the grid came around for the first flying lap, cement dust left to treat a previous oil leak made visibility tricky, but all the drivers made it through and continued their stampede. An off by Tony Sinclair in his Lola T70 brought out the safety car while he was recovered, and then the race was back on with plenty of scraps and position changes throughout the field.
Another incident brought out the red flag because of necessary tyre wall repairs, bringing the race to a slightly premature end. Lola T70 driver, and Goodwood lap-record holder, Nick Padmore took the win when the result was called. Catch all the highlights in the video above.
