What do you do if you're battling for third place in the Whitmore Cup and a more powerful car breezes past you on the Lavant Straight? If you're Nick Swift, the answer is to immediately get the place back – even if that means taking to the outside of Woodcote corner at 119mph.
If colossal entry speed wasn't enough to pass the BMW (and it was), then some deft application of opposite lock was necessary to make the move stick.
