Incredible Lego F1 cars that you can build yourself

Who wouldn’t want a Williams FW14, McLaren MP4-4 or six-wheeled Tyrrell P34 on their desk? These incredibly detailed Lego models are designed by Luca Rusconi, a motorsport fan with a degree in mechanical engineering. Each is created using original technical drawings for scale, while the colour schemes and decals result in uncanny resemblances to the real things.

The models are repeatable, thanks to the MOC Plans online community where Lego model designers can sell their plans. Each of Luca’s 12 designs are available for $15, but you’ll have to buy the bricks separately. So which would you choose? I’m torn between the Lotus 43 and Brabham BT52.
