Such was the impact that the GTR made, it spurred endurance racing titan Porsche to take it on directly with the glorious abomination that was the 911 GT1. Come the 1996 4 hours of Spa, the Porsches were delivering their countering blow to the F1 amongst a grid of F40 LM GTEs, Vipers, 911 GT2s, Lister Storms and more. Watch, in the video above, as the legendary McLaren F1 GTR, the titanic Porsche 911 GT1 and the furious F40 LM battle it out at the iconic Belgian circuit.
