Useful information on the reciprocal events for all Goodwood Horseracing Club members
January
Fontwell Park - Sunday 30 January (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Grandstand and Premier Enclosures. No access to Members Room.
- Parking: Free parking in the main car park.
- Dress Code: Men should wear collared shirts. A tie is not essential. Smart jeans and tailored shorts are acceptable (they must not be ripped or torn).
February
Exeter Racecourse - Sunday 13 February (Jumps)
- Members Area Access: Members will have access to the Haldon Premier and Grandstand & Paddock enclosures. No access to the member’s room.
- Parking: Free parking is located in the centre of the course.
- Dress Code: There is no formal dress code but we do encourage smart/casual attire as well as dressing appropriately for the weather.
Chepstow - Saturday 26th February (Jumps)
- Members Area Access: Access all areas except Native River Lounge.
- Parking: Free parking opposite the Racecourse.
- Dress Code: Smart casual.
March
Lingfield Park - Wednesday 2 March (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Premier enclosure.
- Parking: Free parking opposite the main entrance.
- Dress Code: Smart casual.
Taunton - Thursday 3 March (Jumps)
- Members Area Access: Access to all areas including our Members viewing area & bar.
- Parking: Members car park.
- Dress Code: Dress smartly and for the weather. Ripped jeans and sportswear are discouraged.
Huntingdon - Sunday 6 March (Jumps)
- Members Area Access: Main enclosure but not Annual Members Area in the Cromwell Suite.
- Parking: Free parking in the main car park.
- Dress Code: Smart casual.
Kempton Park - Saturday 26 March (Jumps)
- Members Area Access: Access to entire General Admission, no access to Members Clubhouse.
- Parking: Free parking in the main car park.
- Dress Code: Please note that there is no strict dress code to attend the course - we would like all our racegoers to feel comfortable and relaxed. We would request you avoid wearing denim with rips or tears, flip flops and football shirts to the racecourse.
Wincanton - Wednesday 30 March (Jumps)
- Members Area Access: Premier and Grandstand enclosures.
- Parking: Main Car Park or Annual Members car park.
- Dress Code: Smart casual, please dress appropriately for the weather.
Warwick - Thursday 31 March (Jumps)
- Members Area Access: Main enclosure.
- Parking: Free parking in the centre of the course.
- Dress Code: Dress appropriately for the weather.
April
Newmarket - Wednesday 13 April (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Register at the Free Pass Office only, Rowley Mile – Grandstand and Paddock Entrance, and an entry ticket to gain access to the racecourse will be given to you. Metal badges should be worn to gain entry into the Premier Enclosure. The Free Pass Office is located near the main free public car park.
- Parking: Free parking in the public car park.
- Dress Code: Smart dress code in the Premier Enclosure. No trainers, t-shirts, sportswear, fancy dress or extreme attire is permitted. Dark denim ONLY.
Cheltenham - Thursday 14 April (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Members will have access to the Club and Tattersalls enclosures. No access to the member’s facilities.
- Parking: Parking is free of charge and is located in the Green parking zone. Please follow the Green route when approaching the course.
- Dress Code: Smart casual, dress appropriately for the weather.
Epsom Downs - Tuesday 19 April (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Access to both the Duchess’s Stand and the Queen’s Stand.
- Parking: Free parking in car parks 3, 6 & 7.
- Dress Code: We advise dressing for the weather and smart shorts, smart denim jeans and trainers are acceptable. Jeans are required to not have tears or rips, and we advise no sports shorts, sleeveless vests or bare tops will be permitted.

York - Thursday 12 May (Reciprocal)
- Members Area Access: County Stand.
- Parking: Free car park County Stand.
- Dress Code: Jacket, Collared Shirt & Tie for gentlemen.
Sandown Park - Thursday 26 May (Evening/Flat)
- Members Area Access: Members will have access to both the Grandstand and Premier enclosure - no access to Members' Bar.
- Parking: Park for free in the centre of the course (More Lane Car Park) or for £5 in the main car park (Portsmouth Road)
- Dress Code: Our Premier enclosure has a smart/casual dress code with no sportswear, trainers, ripped or torn jeans, shorts or flip flops permitted.
Chelmsford - Saturday 28 May (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Grandstand access and sports bar, no restaurant access.
- Parking: Free parking in the main car park.
- Dress Code: Smart casual.
Newbury - Tuesday 31 May (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Premier Enclosure, Hospitality & The Hennessy Restaurant.
- Parking: Free parking.
- Dress Code: Racegoers are encouraged to wear smart attire, gentlemen are asked to wear a collared shirt, although a tie is not essential. Smart denim with no rips or tears and long tailored shorts are acceptable. No sports/denim shorts, t-shirts, vests, sports/supporter shirts, tracksuits, sportswear (including trainers) or bare chests. Gentlemen’s flip flops/sandals are not permitted.
Sussex County Cricket Club
- Members Area Access: Access to Sussex CCC Pavilion.
- Parking: No parking onsite, Norton Road car park is the closest public car park.
June
Leicester - Thursday 2 June (Bank Holiday/Flat)
- Members Area Access: Access all areas except hospitality suites. Will be given a day Member's badge in order to gain access to Annual Members & Owners facilities.
- Parking: Free parking directed by marshalls.
- Dress Code: Smart casual.
Chester - Saturday 11 June (Flat)
- Members Area Access: No access to the member’s bar and their badges will gain them access to the course equivalent to a County Concourse Badge.
- Parking: Free parking in the centre of the course on presentation of badge.
- Dress Code: Gentlemen are required to wear a well-tailored suit or a blazer with smart trousers, together with a shirt, collar, and tie. Ladies are required to wear smart dresses. No denim jeans of any colour, no trainers, no sportswear, no shorts, and no fancy dress will be permitted.
Windsor - Monday 20 June (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Premier/Club enclosure.
- Parking: Free parking in the members' car park (excluding Saturday fixtures).
- Dress Code: Smart casual, men should wear a collared shirt.
Hickstead - Saturday 25 June (Showjumping)
- Members Area Access: Showground and Members' Enclosure.
- Parking: Free parking in the Members' car park.
- Dress Code: Smart casual, smart jeans are acceptable but no trainers or shorts.
Cowdray Park Polo Club - Sunday 26 June (Polo)
- Members Area Access: Members are advised to check the website for information regarding the Clubhouse as it depends on what ground we are on.
- Parking: As directed on the day.
- Dress Code: Smart casual.
Hampshire County Cricket Club - Sunday 12 June (Reciprocal)
- Members Area Access: Present membership badge at matchday ticket office in exchange for a ticket, access into the ground and into the Derek Shackleton Bar (Members area)
- Parking: Car parking is available onsite for £10.
July
Great Yarmouth - Wednesday 6 July (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Grandstand & Paddock and Premier. No Members Area.
- Parking: Main Car park.
- Dress Code: Smart attire with no torn or ripped jeans, sportswear or extreme clothing.
Ascot - Saturday 9 July (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Collect badge from Ticket Office East and metal badge will allow access to King Edward VII Enclosure (Premier). No Members Bar access.
- Parking: Free parking in either Car Park 1 or Car Park 2 by showing their metal badge on entry.
- Dress Code: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket accompanied by a tie, cravat or polo-neck sweater. Boys aged 7-15 years are kindly encouraged to wear a collared shirt. Ladies are encouraged to dress stylishly but with a relaxed feel. Jeans, trainers, shorts and fancy dress are not permitted.
Cartmel - Saturday 16 July (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Paddock and Course Enclosures. The restaurant must be pre-booked.
- Parking: Free parking in the main car park. Paddock parking is £10 per car (closer to the racecourse).
- Dress Code: Smart casual, dress appropriately for the weather.
The Curragh - Sunday 17 July (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Please contact the racecourse; jhyland@curragh.ie / reception@curragh.ie; up to 3 days before the race, with the email addresses of their members attending the Curragh. We will then issue an e-ticket directly to them which will enable them to come through any of the turnstiles on the day. They can scan the tickets at the turnstiles to gain access to the racecourse. Children under 18 are free with an adult but must have a valid ticket, please include ages with the request. Members will have access to all public areas.
- Parking: Free parking across the road from the entrance. Free courtesy buses travel from Kildare and Newbridge stations to the Curragh on race days.
- Dress Code: Smart casual.

Salisbury - Wednesday 10 August (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Bibury Enclosure - please use Bibury or Grandstand entrances.
- Parking: Free parking in all car parks (car park 2 recommended). Parking in car park 1 is not permitted.
- Dress Code: Smart casual. Men must wear collared shirts and smart trousers or tailored shorts (ties not essential). Smart Jeans are accepted (No ripped or faded denim). No sportswear.
Ffos Las - Thursday 11 August (Flat)
- Members Area Access: All areas except the Annual Members facility.
- Parking: Free parking in the main car park.
- Dress Code: Smart casual - dress appropriately for the weather.
Bath - Wednesday 17 August (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Access to Grandstand Area. No Members Bar.
- Parking: Free parking available.
- Dress Code: Smart casual.
Brighton - Sunday 21 August (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Access to both the Premier and Grandstand & Paddock Enclosures.
- Parking: Free parking in public car park in front of racecourse.
- Dress Code: No strict dress code but advise smart casual attire in the Premier Enclosure and Silks Restaurant.

- Members Area Access: Present membership badge at matchday ticket office in exchange for a ticket, access into the ground and into the Derek Shackleton Bar (Members area)

September
Musselburgh - Saturday 10 September (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Please use the entrance to access the Links Pavillion.
- Parking: Free parking at top of Balcarres Road a 5-minute walk from Racecourse.
- Dress Code: Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Ayr - Thursday 15 September (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Access to the Club Enclosure. Please go with your badge to the Princess Royal Reception beside Gate C to gain entry.
- Parking: Free parking is available in Car Park 4, adjacent to Tesco.
- Dress Code: Smart casual, smart jeans and trainers are acceptable.
Hamilton Park - Thursday 18 September (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Duke's Entrance. Should members require more information or for a discount on Hospitality, they can contact Karly or Katie at Hamilton Park.
- Parking: Free parking at Duke's entrance car park.
- Dress Code: Smart casual.
Haydock Park - Saturday 24 September (Flat)
- Members Area Access: County Enclosure.
- Parking: Free parking.
- Dress Code: Smart casual, smart jeans are acceptable – no ripped, faded or distressed jeans allowed. No trainers or track wear.
Sussex County Cricket Club - Monday 26 September (Reciprocal)
- Members Area Access: Access to Sussex CCC Pavilion.
- Parking: No parking onsite, Norton Road car park is the closest public car park.
October
Wetherby
- Members Area Access: Access to Paddock Enclosure and Premier Enclosure facilities. No access to Annual Members Suite.
- Parking: Free parking in public parking areas.
- Dress Code: Dress in smart casual attire and dress appropriately for the weather.
Market Rasen
- Members Area Access: Your badge entitles you to access all three enclosures. Our premium enclosure is the County Entrance. Entrance through Owners and Trainers will not be permitted. No access to the Limber Hill Bar (annual members facility).
- Parking: Parking is free and we advise that you use our County Car Park located of Willingham Road.
- Dress Code: A 'smart casual' code is applicable for the County Enclosure. Men must wear collared shirts and trousers or smart jeans (ties are not essential) Smart jeans are accepted (no ripped or faded denim) No shorts, sportswear or trainers.
Plumpton
- Members Area Access: Access to the Grandstand and Paddock areas and the Picnic Enclosure. No Access to Annual Members room.
- Parking: Free parking in the centre of the course (Please note that you can only leave the racecourse in between races when no horses are in the parade ring or on the track). If preference is to park on hard standing, please use the entrance to the south (not the railway crossing gate) and follow signs for further free parking.
- Dress Code: No formal dress code unless dining in the Paddock or Marquee restaurant the dress code is Smart/Casual and smart jeans are permitted. Sportswear and ripped jeans are not permitted.
Worcester
- Members Area Access: County and Centre course.
- Parking: General car park, use postcode: WR1 3EH
- Dress Code: Smart casual.
November
Doncaster - Saturday 5 November (Flat)
- Members Area Access: Access to the County stand which includes access to the Winning Post and the Parade Ring, the Pre-Parade Ring & Saddling Boxes and access to the ground, 1st and 2nd floors of the main stand.
- Parking: Car Park 5 - £5 per vehicle or Car Park C - free.
- Dress Code: The dress code for the County Enclosure including Conduit Restaurant and the Champagne Lawn is smart attire, strictly no jeans, sportswear or trainers, and gentlemen must wear a collared shirt. The dress code also applies to those under 18.
Uttoxeter - Sunday 20 November (Jumps)
- Members Area Access: Premier enclosure but not Annual Members Bar.
- Parking: Parking is in the main car park as directed by stewards.
- Dress Code: We have a smart casual dress code, the only exclusion to clothing is that we do not allow sports team wear.
