Accessible parking
Complimentary accessible parking spaces are available close to the racecourse entrances at the front of Car Park 5 and 8 for vehicles displaying a valid blue badge. Accessible parking is operated on a first come, first served basis on the day.
A complimentary mobility shuttle buggy service with bespoke wheelchair user access will be in operation within Car Park 8. This shuttle service will be available to access at the nearest hard standing area from your vehicle and will be in operation upon entry and exit to the racecourse.
Drop off point
If you're arriving by taxi or bus you will be directed to the Transport Terminus; this is located on grass, a short distance to our East Entrance. The terminus can also be used as a drop off and pick up point for those with accessibility needs. See the transport terminus under 'car parks' on the interactive racecourse map.

Raised track viewing
There are three dedicated raised viewing platforms located on the rails by the track, which provide clear, close-up visibility of the action. The Richmond platform is located in front of the Richmond Lawn Bar, the Gordon platform is located in front of the Sussex Stand and the Lennox platform is located on the Gordon/Lennox dividing fence.
Wheelchair users in the Richmond Enclosure are also welcome to use the covered viewing area on the 1st floor March Stand balcony. The lift can be accessed at the south side of the March Stand through the main glass doors, adjacent to the main stairwell. Likewise, Gordon Enclosure racegoers are able to gain access to the top level of the Sussex Stand via a lift. This lift can be found on the south (parade ring) side of the building.
Parade ring viewing
Viewing of the parade ring is easily accessible from ramps on either side of the central parade ring bar.
These ramps allow for elevated viewing of the parade ring with a smaller designated viewing area on the top level. The ramps continue to the winner's enclosure for low-level viewing. View the accessibility ramp locations on our interactive map, simply select 'accessibility' on the drop down.

Can I book a wheelchair?
There are four non-electric wheelchairs in the Sussex Stand, which can be booked in advance free of charge by calling 01243 755022. Ask the stewards if you need assistance or directions upon arrival.
Where are the accessible toilets?
Accessible toilets are located within each of the enclosures. Many of the accessible toilets are operated by radar key - these can be obtained from Racecourse Reception, first aid points and by asking toilet attendants. Temporary toilets are also located around the venue at the Qatar Goodwood Festival.
Where can I access first aid?
There are first aid facilities located within each enclosure. If you need medical attention but can't make your way to a first aid point, please alert one of our staff members who can make contact with the roaming on-site medical team.
Can I bring an assistance dog?
Guide and assistance dogs are very welcome at the racecourse.
Where will I find hearing loops?
Hearing loops are located at our two main East and West Entrances and at our East Entrance information point.
What is the policy regarding carer tickets?
Customers are entitled to one free ticket for their carer with one full price adult ticket. To obtain a carer ticket in advance a copy of your DLA or PIP document should be sent to the Ticket Office, either by scanning and emailing a copy to ticket.office@goodwood.com or sending a copy in the post to: Ticket Office, Goodwood Motor Circuit, Goodwood, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0PH. The copy will then be kept on file should you wish to purchase tickets in the future. It is recommended that all carer tickets are obtained in advance of the event to avoid disappointment on sell out race meetings.
I came here three years ago but once you’re bitten, you have to come back. It is always atmospheric here, it doesn’t matter what the weather conditions are, it is always a memorable day. Everything about Goodwood is done for love, it’s been crafted lovingly over centuries.
There are some amazing racecourses around the world, but without fail you feel like you’re in one of the most special.
It has been fantastic… this is another great Goodwood event, with a great atmosphere.
Goodwood. More like AmazeWood. Best night in a while. Thank you X
It goes without saying that Goodwood has always been a special place for me. The Qatar Goodwood Festival is a beautiful week and Goodwood is the most picturesque racecourse in the country.
