Complete with a roadgoing version of Lewis Hamilton’s 1.6-litre V6 drivetrain from his Mercedes WO8 Formula 1 car, it’s the Merc-AMG Project One hypercar – revealed today at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

That V6 engine has a redline of 11,000rpm – at least 2000rpm higher than any road car engine in production – but that’s just one of the extraordinary figures that make up this car’s spec.
