The Central Feature at the 2016 Festival of Speed celebrates 100 years of BMW and was unveiled in adramatic fireworks display on Thursday night. Lord March said the Central Feature marks a "very special relationship" between Goodwood and BMW and said of the impressive structure; "It feels a bit risky and a bit dangerous. It's by far the biggest in terms of square footage and in terms of engineering it's very critical. The tolerances are literally millimetres."
