Goodwood Revival | Press Article 10/09/16

The St. Mary’s Trophy race has been a fan favourite since the inaugural Revival Meeting way back in 1998. This year’s event is destined to be the most hotly-contested yet because each driver will be armed with identical Austin A30s and A35s! These giant-slaying little cars were campaigned in period by legends such as John Sprinzel and Graham Hill. Scroll forward to the present and this one-make race will see current touring car superstars Matt Neal, Gordon Shedden and Andy Jordan go toe-to-toe with tin-top deity Steve Soper and former Le Mans winner Martin Brundle among other motor racing overachievers. The first instalment kicks off tomorrow, with the final chapter on Sunday morning. Expect frenzied battles up and down the order, and a train of cars slipstreaming each other on the straights. It’s going to be epic!
