‘Celebrations to get tails wagging’

The Kennels is the central Clubhouse for all of Goodwood’s Sporting Members and this year is a particularly special one for The Kennels as it celebrates its 10-year anniversary.

Be it horseracing, golf, motor sport, aviation or Health Club enthusiasts, the members all have access to The Clubhouse. However, if you’re not that keen on sport, Goodwood also offers Social Membership for those looking for somewhere to relax with superb food in stylish surroundings.

To celebrate 10 glorious years, The Kennels is revelling in true Goodwood style and putting on a show of events from now until the end of the year.

July – The Kennels’ coffee morning                                                                                                                    In July The Kennels is celebrating with a coffee morning which includes delicious homemade shortbread as well as an Anniversary Celebration mug for each guest as a little keepsake to mark the occasion.

August – Gin Experience                                                                                                                                        Augusts festivity will be marked with an exclusive Gin Experience, a chance to try a number of new gins with the launch of the fabulous new gin trolley at The Kennels. Whether its dry, sloe, famous or unheard of gins, you are sure to find one that tickles your fancy.

September – Treat your pooch                                                                                                                Throughout September your pooch is also invited to join in on the celebrations. You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend to the Clubhouse and whilst you enjoy a mouth-watering lunch, your dog can explore part of the glorious 12,000-acre Estate with a walk by a qualified dog walker before returning for their specially created doggy ice cream.

October – The Kennels’ Quiz Night                                                                                                              October sees for the return of the ever popular quiz night, however, this time with a twist. You will be able to enjoy a delicious set two-course meal in the terrace dining room while testing yourself on what you can remember from the last decade. The winner also gets to experience the exclusive Hound Lodge first hand with an afternoon of tea and cake with ten friends and family.

November - The Kennels' Celebration Wine                                                                                                    The Estate’s very own Sommelier, Kevin Crisp has selected a number of the best ten year vintage wines for you to try with lunch or dinner. The perfect way to celebrate the wine of the decade.

December - Members' Christmas Drinks                                                                                                             In December you will have the chance to get into the festive spirit throughout with fellow Members, family and friends. You can spend an evening in The Kennels' Bar enjoying delicate seasonal canapes and drinks, the perfect way to get ready for Christmas.
