TVR in Revival renaissance

For immediate release: Friday September 8 2017

Legendary British marque TVR is back, and how. The new Griffith supercar was unveiled earlier today at the 2017 Goodwood Revival Meeting. This bold new super-coupé employs cutting-edge engineering with striking visuals, the brains trust behind this exciting British machine including legendary designer Gordon Murray. The Griffith weighs only 1250kg and employs a naturally-aspirated 5-litre Cosworth-enhanced V8 engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Top speed is expected to be more than 200mph with the 0-60mph dash taking less than four seconds.

Racer and businessman Les Edgar, who masterminded TVR’s renaissance, said: “Today’s unveiling is the culmination of nearly three years of tireless work by the team, and we’re all proud to be able to show the new TVR Griffith to the world. This is unmistakably a TVR, a British muscle car that’s as awesome and brutal as it is charismatic and refined. Importantly, the new TVR offers levels of technical sophistication, comfort, reliability and practicality never seen by the brand before.”
