Following their 'track day with twist', we caught up with Boodle Hatfield partner, Hayden Bailey, about the day:
Why did you choose this experience at Goodwood?
We like to think our business has the same core values as Goodwood, of luxury, elegance and heritage, so it was an obvious choice. It was a thank you to people who have been with us for some time. We don’t do very many of these events, so we needed to make sure it was a special day. We targeted clients that we knew were into cars and would appreciate what Goodwood has to offer. What was amazing was the high take up rate for this event.
Is that unusual?
Yes. Normally with this kind of thing we have to invite many more guests than we require to ensure we fill every slot. These are very important and busy people who get invited to a lot of events over the course of a year – we don’t have a huge marketing budget, so when we do something we want to make sure we do it properly. Everyone who we invited knew about Goodwood and signed up straight away. They were really excited about the opportunity. It was one of the best corporate days out I have ever experienced.
