Bonhams hosted its second Members' Meeting car sale on 20 March 2016, with £5.8 million spent in total - beating the previous year's tally of £4.2 million.
The top auction lot at the sale was a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL 'Gullwing' Coupé, which sold for £841,500. Other highlights included a 1929 Bentley 4 1/2 Litre Tourer (£320,700) and an incredible price of £270,300 was recorded for one of Scotland's earliest vehicle registration numbers: 'S5'.
