Do you have a burning question about Three Friday Nights? Need answers? Hopefully we can assist..
What is Three Friday Nights?
Three Friday Nights presents a dynamic combination of racing, music and dancing to create a truly unforgettable experience.
First, you will enjoy a six-race card that offers a feast of excellent horseracing action, with the first race starting around 6pm on each evening. Then, after dark, the hallowed turf of the Parade Ring switches from hooves to heels as racing makes way for three world-famous DJs - each appearing for one special performance at the world’s most beautiful racecourse. This year has arguably the strongest line-up we have ever had with Tinie Tempah & DJ Charlsey, Pete Tong and SIGMA all heading to the world's most beautiful racecourse.
When are the events taking place in 2017?
Three Friday Nights returns to Goodwood Racecourse in 2017 with events on Friday 2 June, Friday 9 June and Friday 16 June.
Who are the DJs appearing in 2017?
This years acts are Tinie Tempah, Pete Tong & SIGMA on the 2, 9 & 16 June. To guarantee your place at this year's event make sure you buy tickets well in advance as they are sure to sell out.
The first race on each evening starts around 6pm with the final race getting underway at approximately 9pm. The gates open at 4.30pm so be sure to arrive early and soak up the summer sun. After racing has finished, the DJ starts spinning tunes in the Parade Ring and music goes on until 11pm alongside a spectacular laser show.
Which enclosures are available?
The premier Richmond Enclosure offers the very best view at Goodwood with seating directly opposite the winning post within the March Stand. Adjacent is the Gordon Enclosure, which offers an area of the March Stand in addition to the magnificent Sussex Stand for superb views across the Downs and beyond. Both enclosures allow access to the Parade Ring so you can check out the horses before each race. After racing has finished on each evening, everyone gathers in this area to enjoy music from top DJs.
Goodwood is famous for being a stylish yet relaxed occasion and gentlemen are required to wear jackets and either ties, cravats or polo neck sweaters in the Richmond Enclosure, while jeans and shorts are not permitted in this enclosure for men or women. In the Gordon Enclosure dress is smart casual. Bare tops and fancy dress are not allowed in either enclosure. Due to the terrain and areas of decking at Goodwood flat shoes are recommended.
Please note: Three Friday Nights is an outdoor event, as such we advise racegoers to dress appropriately when it concerns the weather. Come rain or shine the event will continue so it's best to come prepared for all eventualities.
