For me, hospitality is at its finest when you build a rapport with your guests. I want my team here to be knowledgeable, polite, friendly and proud to work here, as I am. I can’t think of a better place to have your first job – I intend to make sure that my team look forward to coming to work. It’s also very important to me they learn as much as they can about the job and that they feel that they can progress. There’s always room to grow and learn, for all of us, and I find that watching my team progress and grow in confidence, ability and style is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.
I have so many plans and ideas for The Kennels Bar. Of course not everything that worked for me in Brisbane or Sydney translates to Goodwood, but there are aspects and experiences that I will apply, and encourage in the team here.
