Are you Hungry or Thirsty?
We all know what is feels like to be hungry and how easy it is to reach for the chocolate bar or a packet of crisps, however, did you know that when you feel hungry, more often than not it is actually thirst? Next time you feel you need food to fill you up, try drinking a pint of water as your first point of call.
To curb the hunger and prevent it happening as often, make sure you drink enough water throughout the day - this is increasingly important as we look forward to the warmer weather and the hope for the hottest summer for 100 years is set to arrive.
Here are our top tips to ensure you are drinking enough:
1. Always carry a water bottle with you.
2. Download the WaterApp and ask for reminders to prompt you to have that much needed glass of water...we all know how easy it is to forget to drink whilst running around during the normal day-to-day hustle and bustle of life.
3. Track how much you drink. Marking lines on your water bottle will ensure you can monitor the amount you are drinking and you can easily make sure you are drinking your recommended daily amount.
