Overview

The Little Book of Mindfulness is a pocket-sized book that aims to introduce the concept of mindfulness including its history and evolution. It explores the physical and mental benefits of practising mindfulness and includes practical exercises and tips on how to incorporate mindfulness in your life. 

In the talk, Jennifer will share more about what's within the book, including:

- Fascinating facts on the history of mindfulness, from its origins in Hinduism and Buddhism to its place within the modern well-being industry

- Mindfulness techniques to improve your physical and mental health

- Step-by-step exercises and actionable advice on how to integrate mindfulness into your everyday life.

- Bite-sized quotes to help you appreciate life's small wonders.

About Jennifer Cordero

Jennifer is a yoga teacher and freelance writer.  She’s taught yoga for over a decade with a particular love for teaching outdoors in connection with the natural world. She’s a strong advocate for using movement to enhance your physical and mental wellbeing. As a writer she focuses on health and wellbeing topics.

The Little Book of Mindfulness is being released in summer 2025. She’s currently working on a follow up book, The A-Z of Longevity.
