Overview

Step into a space of creativity and calm, where we show you how art becomes a tool for self-care and renewal. No pressure, no expectations - just the joy of creating for your own wellbeing. Come as you are, leave inspired to try and experiment more.

Working artists and tutors, Elisabetta Coccia and Corrina Holyoake, will introduce us to how creative practice can support wellness of all kinds. Learn how engaging in artistic activities can reduce stress, boost mood and foster mindfulness.

Elisabetta and Corrina will demonstrate some creative practices which can be easily explored to generate a peaceful mindset. Some say just watching an artist work is peaceful in itself! This evening promises to be relaxed, informative and inspiring with practical ways to integrate creative practice into your own wellbeing routine.

About Corrina and Elisabetta

Corrina Holyoake

Corrina is a children’s book illustrator and publisher and has worked with clients across the globe, winning several awards along the way. She is a huge kid at heart and loves bringing people's creations to life and creating new colourful worlds together.

Sharing her passion of art is something that is very close to her heart and she runs art workshops through her company Artypeace alongside Elisabetta, having a particular fondness with mindful art techniques.

She also takes bespoke commissions and has been involved with various projects over the years from pet portraits, indoor and outdoor murals, tattoo designing to name a few.

Elisabetta Coccia

Manchester born, Elisabetta Coccia, came to live in Bognor Regis in 2022 and has quickly immersed herself into the local arts scene. She teaches art to adults locally in a variety of workshops suitable for all levels and is particularly passionate about art history and how we can learn from those who came before us. Her teaching covers a wide variety of media, from watercolour, pen, paper lithography, mixed media and lots more.

She is a strong supporter of women’s rights and her own work is particularly influenced by the women’s art movement of the 1970s. Her ambition is to help grow the arts community of West Sussex and encourage new people to try and develop confidence in making art.
