Fiona and Tom
Fiona and Tom were married on the 17th November and chose Goodwood House as their reception venue. We caught up with Fiona to find out about the highlights of her big day.
"Where to start? From the moment we arrived, head butler David Edney and his team made Tom and me feel like we were at home. Goodwood House, grand as it is, felt like it was our own for the evening, hosting our nearest and dearest on the most important day of our lives. Every detail (and there were many) was planned, relayed and triple-checked by Rhiannon and the team. They executed everything perfectly on the day - this, coming from an Executive Assistant who is a stickler for details - just showed how high the level of care was and that nothing was too big or small for us to ask."
"The whole process, from the first stages of booking the house right up to finalising the table plan, was just so easy. Rhiannon was responsive to emails and called to follow up and double-check everything with me. Communication was clear and easy, which is key to keeping stress levels to a minimum!
The service during the reception and dinner was beyond fabulous. Again, the attention to detail, from the timings, to the placement and clearing of food at each table, surpassed expectation. Every single one of the staff working that evening was polite, well mannered and utterly professional. Everything was delivered with a huge friendly smile."
"I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all the hard work that went into making our wedding day as spectacular as it was. I cannot tell you the cards of thanks we have received and how many people have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to - the highest praise indeed. So, I thank you all from the bottom of my newly-wed heart, it has made me fall in love with Goodwood all over again. Should anyone I know think of using Goodwood House as a venue for any event, I would frankly tell them they would be foolish to look elsewhere!"
