Supercar Sunday: jaw-dropping early arrivers
It’s early June, it’s a Sunday, the sun is shining, and the Sussex countryside has been reverberating with the throaty goodness of high performance sports cars since the dawn chorus. It can only mean one thing – Supercar Sunday at Goodwood Motor Circuit.
Easily the most highly subscribed Breakfast Club event, throngs of fans were flooding onto the circuit from the off to wander amongst a grid and paddock jam-packed with ridiculous modern sports car engineering.
Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, Noble, Porsche, Aston Martin, the entry list had something for everyone this year, and whether fans were lucky enough to get in to the event from the off, or found themselves admiring the early arrivers from outside the gates, there was plenty of sumptuous eye and ear-candy on show.
