We are a church of speed and style here at the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. So while the Timed Shootout is one of the star attractions, with the greatest drivers in the world pushing some of the fastest cars up our Hill, the drifters are also on hand to raise massive smiles and make plumes of smoke.
So with that, we thought we’d round up the best competitive drift runs at the 2021 Festival. Watch as James Deane, Alexandre Claudin, Martin Richards, Tessa Whittock and more absolutely send everything from BMW 3 Series to a classic Dodge Charger, a good old Nissan Skyline and so many more, up the Hill in smokey style. All deference to their mighty JZ and LS engines, which take to rev limiter abuse like a duck to water.
