Weird cars are the best cars, aren’t they? The ones that make you go for a second look and think “what on Earth is going on there”. You won’t be saying that more often than at a Goodwood event, where the line-ups pull some real historical obscurities, alongside the silverware-winning legends.
Here we have a list of the nine weirdest cars in action at last year’s Goodwood Revival, from a dumpy-looking HWM sportscar with a Cadillac lump powering it, to a U2-Ford single-seater that appears to be, for want of a more flattering expression, a box on wheels. We had the Snakeskin Cobra which yes, you guessed it, had eyes painted over its lights, and of course a fan favourite, the Owlett and so many more.
