We know that Nick Padmore is not one to hang around. Whether it’s a Formula 1 car or a Mini, you can bet he’ll be driving his heart out. What do you imagine he did, then, when a missed gearchange at a race start saw him fall well behind the pack? Shock horror, he went on an overtaking mission.
Driving a BMW 530i at the 75th Members’ Meeting, a car he’ll be driving once again at this weekend’s 78MM, Padmore is past six cars before the halfway point of the first lap, and storming his way onto the back of another group of cars just seconds later. It’s a wild, wild ride.
