“For me, it was a very exciting period, because I was driving different cars all the time,” says Jackie Stewart. Trying your hand in different disciplines was a part of being a good, well-rounded driver in those days. Just look at Graham Hill. The only driver to ever have won the Monaco Grand Prix, Indy 500 and Le Mans 24 hours. These weren’t just Maestros of F1, they were the Maestros of Motorsport.
