Missing the Revival for this year? Of course you are. Fear not. Welcome to another concentrated dose of the most intense action from what is arguably the Revival’s staple race from last year. Here are our four best battles from the 2019 RAC TT Celebration.
We open ten minutes in with a bit of ‘rubbing is racing’ action as Craig Davies in the Corvette hops the curb over the crest at Woodcote. It then pitches sideways for some unfortunate contact in a very close pack.
Next up, in the top three, mere minutes later, we have Bill Shepherd in his monstrous Cobra fending off a transatlantic attack from Mike Whitaker in his V8 TVR. The TVR nimbly uses its weight advantage to put the pressure on. This is not the first drama the 47 Cobra gets into in this race…
Jump ahead half an hour and we’re past the driver swap. Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard record-holder and motorsport legend Romain Dumas is now in the 47 Cobra, putting the pressure on Olly Bryant in the distinctive number one red and gold Cobra. Equally matched, Dumas drafts and finds the impossible gap. Heart-in-your-throat stuff...
