Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard was perhaps the most varied event we’ve ever put on at the Motor Circuit, in terms of the range of cars on display and what they were up to. So when it comes to picking our favourite American muscle on show, the choices are endless.
If we look to the Whitsun Trophy, it’s a sea of big American V8s sat in the middle of svelte prototypes like the Lola T70 and Ford GT40. Then, of course, we can look to the touring car selection of the St Mary’s Trophy and Gerry Marshall Trophy, for Camaros, Mustangs, Studebakers and Plymouths. Is it a round-up of American muscle at Goodwood without a shout to the AC Cobra? Of course, much of the above you’ve seen before on our track. What you won’t have seen, is the NASCAR, or the other pair of Ford Mustangs we’ve included which between them could not be more different. Watch on to find out which ones we’ve included.
