The thing about racing is that an effective car built within the rules that govern it doesn’t necessarily pay mind to aesthetics. The designers can get all flustered and excited over their good work and only see a completed car on reveal day. And oh lord, have the rules and rigours of racing produced some absolute howlers.
We count down seven of what we believe are the ugliest racing cars of all time. Some have penile appendages on their faces, some are born into what is just a downright ugly class of car, some are victims of afterthought design and some are just no excuses, no reasons, hideous.
