Not that long ago we wrote about the awesome BMW M1 Procar series and the F1 drivers who raced in it, but the cars used there were the track-ready M1s. We’ve never written about rally-spec M1s before…
No, we’re not joking. This video contains glorious footage of an M1 rally car slicing its way up a mountain road, taking flight and oversteering at every possible opportunity. While we might be most excited to see the M1, it is worth noting we’re struggling no to dribble at the sight of Porsche 911s, Renault 5 Turbos and an Alfa Romeo GTV6 being fired along the route of the 1984 Rallye Alpin Behra, too.
