The new Audi RS3 is, like its predecessor, an extremely impressive car. Sophisticated all-wheel-drive, a roaring five-cylinder turbocharged engine, a snappy double-clutch gearbox. The recipe is known, loved and refreshed for 2021. To prove how capable it is, Audi saw fit to throw the refreshed RS3 at the Green Hell and see what time it could spit out.
So this is our mid-morning meditation for today: a new RS3 with Frank Stippler at the wheel, going absolutely hell for leather in pursuit of a strong time. Fast Audis with their rocksteady four-wheel-drive and their powerful engines have always had devastating pace but this is next-level. It’s almost like the video is on fast-forward…
