[Video] Cupra Formentor Review | Just a Seat SUV? | GRR
This is the Cupra Formentor. Confused? If you are, that's understandable – who's heard of a car company called Cupra before? In truth Cupra hasn't existed for all that long, but it isn't a new brand entirely. So far so not-straightforward.
Whenever Seat launched a new sporty machine it went out the factory door with a Cupra badge – the Cupra name was to Seat what Type R is to Honda. But Seat decided Cupra needed some more space to grow, and so it has left its home to do things its own way.
So this is the first all-new car from that now-independent Cupra brand, and it's an SUV that's been developed entirely in-house by the Cupra team. Is it any good? Should Seat have left Cupra the way it was? What better way to find out than by driving this matt-blue 310PS hot SUV?
